Week 3 Meal Plan

Although the hubs and I both would consider this to be our hardest Whole30, we really are doing well and staying on track. We’re pretty pitiful at times, drooling over ridiculous McDonald’s commercials, but then other times staring at Brandon’s vanishing belly and passing around high fives. We could have our own reality show really. It would be epic. Haha.

One of the most important things that has helped us stay on track in our whole30 eating has been making a meal plan. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a plan! Granted, we don’t always stick to it to the T, but that’s not the point.

Here’s the point: if I have planned out 15 meals for the week that means I have the ingredients in my house for 15 meals. If I end up moving these meals around or pushing them back to another day, fine. But never in this week will I look in the fridge or the pantry and think “there’s nothing good to eat”. There is always something good to eat! I am always prepared and fully stocked and it’s great!

If you are wanting to eat healthy, wanting to change your habits, wanting to feel better…. have a plan! Here’s mine:

Week 3 Meal Plan

July ’12 Whole30 | Week 1 Meal Plan

I believe it was Winston Churchill who wrote, “He who fails to plan, plans to fail.” Well ladies and gentlemen, WE HAVE A PLAN!

I went to my local Famers Market yesterday and Whole Foods today and am fully stocked for the week with delicious healthy whole30 approved foods. Of course, things come up and these meals might be moved around or pushed back which I’m totally okay with. The point of making a meal plan for me is that I know all of this is within reach to be made. Instead of looking through my fridge or pantry and saying the same old “we don’t have anything good to eat” I KNOW we do and I know how to make it. I am prepared, armed, and ready for a weeks worth of delicious, healthy meals. Here we go!

Monday:

Breakfast- I’m starting our whole30 off with a Whole Family favorite, Eggplant Hole in the Head!

Lunch- Hamburger Sliders with Sweet Potato Coins

Dinner- Beef Curry (a take on my Chicken Curry) Continue reading

Eat Like A Dinosaur Whole30 Week 1 Meal Plan | Whole Family

As we start our 4th Whole30 today I am excited to announce that our “Whole Family” will be eating our way through Eat Like a Dinosaur by The Paleo Parents! Matt and Stacy sent me a book a couple of weeks ago but with our fundraising efforts for Jeremiah’s D.A.D. I haven’t made the time to cook from it. That changes this week! I am so excited to make these delicious meals and share them with friends and family. My review will be coming this weekend! What a week it will be…. Continue reading

Whole30 Monthly Meal Plan | Whole Family

On our last Whole30 I planned ahead each week with a meal plan. Making a meal plan made my life so much easier and 10x’s more organized. Of course, there were times where we deviated from the plan or we were lucky enough to have enough leftovers that meals got pushed back but overall my meal plans were a lifesaver.

If you’re in need of some meal planning, not sure where to start, or are like me and like to browse how other people plan, check these out.

I hope they serve you as much as they served me.
