“I knew nothing about diabetes so when the doctor checked Jeremiah’s blood sugar and had him pee in a cup I didn’t think twice about it. When he told me to get to the hospital I still wasn’t sure what was going on. I even gave the kids a lollipop on the way out of the office, big no-no, but I had no idea!
