We are beyond thrilled to announce Jeremiah’s D.A.D. Fundraising Benefit Night!
As many of you know we have recently started the process of getting a diabetic alert dog for Jeremiah through Warren Retrievers. It is a very expensive process but we are fully confident that it will make all of our lives so much better that it is absolutely worth it.
Please take a moment to watch this short, sweet video about Jeremiah. For more information you can also check out our news interview with WWL-TV here.
This dog will be able to smell Jeremiah’s blood sugar and know if it is high or low and alert us to that. He will sleep with Jeremiah and awake us if he is in trouble. A diabetic alert dog can prevent the consequences of blood sugar fluctuations and, once fully trained, is 100% accurate in its alerts. We are so excited to welcome this sweet blessing into our family.
Our benefit night will be held at The Ormond Plantation House on June 2nd from 6pm-9pm. It will include small plate buffet of delicious food generously donated by local businesses, music performed by the talented Sid Bardfield, and a HUGE silent auction of over 100 goods and services donated by companies across the United States.
We are overwhelmed at the support we have received from all of these companies and individuals and are looking forward to this night being an enormous success. Dan Warren, from Warren Retrievers, is coming to speak at our event about the importance of these dogs and how important diabetes management is in Jeremiah’s life. He is bringing with him a trainer and a diabetic alert dog!
If we sell all 300 tickets to this event we will be ready to receive our D.A.D! Please help us reach the finish line by purchasing your tickets today. Please check out this post from me, Jeremiah’s mommy.
To purchase your ticket for only $10 please click the button below. You can print out your confirmation and bring it with you to the event and your ticket will be waiting for you at the door.
Thank you all so much for your support. We look forward to having you come out to not only have a fun night but to support this cause that is so near to our hearts. Please spread the word to everyone you know!
(We are asking that this be an adults only night please.)

My grandson Kyle (age 7) heard about the fundraiser at the farmers market. He had just found a penny on the cement. He decided to donate the penny to help the fundraiser. Kyle is collecting money in a zip lock bag for your sons benefit, and wants to give the bag of money to Jeremiah. I read about the fund raiser and purchased our two tickets before I saw the note about this night being an adult night. I hope you will allow Kyle to attend, he is very excited and cannot wait for June 2nd, Deniese Zeringue.
What a sweet grandson you have there Deniese. Of course, we would love to have him come. How precious that he would have a heart to serve Jeremiah, and Jeremiah would love to meet him. God is constantly blowing us away by people like you who are so kind to want to help my son. Thank you and can’t wait to meet you at the benefit.
