Yep, that’s about where I am.
I have been so focused on fundraising that exercising has slowly become less and less of a habit. Following right behind the lack of exercise was my eating habits which have became pretty darn embarrassing. I have been clawing my way back to eating right but that darn wagon is slippery and mean and fast and heck, it ran me over!
Am I making excuses? No. I refuse to justify or try to get away with doing what I know is wrong and not doing what I know is right.
Yes, I’ve been busy. Yes, I’ve been exhausted. Can I still eat the healthy way my body is begging me to eat to make it work at it’s best? Abso-freakin-lutely.
Because of not sleeping well, not eating great, not exercising I have allowed my body to suffer and get sick for the first time in at least a good year. It has been 6 weeks now and I have not been able to kick it completely. Yesterday, I coughed for the gazillionth time and fractured a rib. How does that happen? It happens, unfortunately, from not taking care of my body the way that I should. No more.
I have allowed myself to fall back into bad habits but that doesn’t mean I can’t get right back to the tried-and-true good habits that I love and make me feel great. Eating is 90% of the battle and the battle is on!
And so can you! Come along with me, let’s encourage each other, let’s walk together, let’s get in shape and eat right together. No excuses!
What do I need? What do WE need?
Motivation!!! Encouragement!!! A major kick in the BUTT!!!
Here’s a little motivation to get us started.
And hey, don’t leave me hanging. Let me know you’re out there and you’re in this with me!
Hello, a wagon ran me over…. I need your help!!!
Let’s do this together. I know we can and I am very much looking forward to it.
