Yay for Saturdays! Yes I know, I probably say that every Saturday.
On this particular Saturday our house guests got to hang around a little later so instead of fast muffins, I went all out. We had fresh fruit, apple muffins, blueberry pecan muffins, breakfast sausage, pumpkin pancakes, and eggs. It was a great way to start the day and so nice to share it with new friends.
Our day was then full with grocery shopping, haircuts and more. For lunch we had my spi-garlicy chicken and diced acorn squash. It was just as good as I remembered it!
Our Saturday afternoon was spent enjoying the outdoors riding bikes, skating and playing basketball. It was in the upper 70′s all afternoon, perfect for outdoor time.
We kept dinner simple with diced up spi-garlicy chicken and more diced acorn squash.
By the end of this night I was almost as exhausted as the night before, just not to the point of crying thankfully. I did however get a new wave of “morning sickness” in the middle of the night. That was fun. TMI? Haha.
I am fully confident that I would have many more pregnancy symptoms if it weren’t for how well we are eating and I am thankful for that. Only 7 more weeks till we meet our baby girl!

Sounds delicious. I’m curious as to what breakfast sausage you buy.
Chicken sausage primarily. There are a good amount of brands that offer chicken breakfast sausage with limited ingredients. Whole Foods also has a pork blueberry sausage that is incredible.
