Jeremiah’s Journey | Video

I made a short video about Jeremiah’s journey with type 1 diabetes and our efforts to get him a diabetic alert dog. I pray daily for our sweet boy to thrive while living with diabetes and, of course, to be cured. Above all I pray for Jeremiah’s faith in the Lord, for his courageous spirit to never be moved, and for him to always truly LIVE.

Enjoy…….

D.A.D. News Story | Upcoming Events

Sandra Gonzales from WGNO was kind enough to come by last week and interview Jeremiah and myself about our desire to get a diabetic alert dog. Here’s Jeremiah’s news story on WGNO in case you missed it. Please, please, please share our story with your family and friends.

We still have a good ways to go in our fundraising with a goal of finishing within 3 more months and I know we can accomplish this goal. Fundraising Update 4.7.12

Hi guys! We are fundraising up a storm over here! We have been unbelievably blessed over and over and are blown away at God’s goodness towards Jeremiah and our family.

We have been selling popcorn almost daily and we have 9 salons and 3 pharmacies selling chocolate for us. Today we fundraised by “bagging for tips” at our local Winn-Dixie and raised over $2,000! Thank you to everyone that helped us today and has helped us throughout our fundraising. To not only feel but see the Lord at work in our lives is amazing and humbling and we are beyond thankful.

We are over a third of the way there, coming up close on halfway. We are still selling coasters, chocolate, popcorn, bracelets and I am currently writing a holistic book with AgeSpans with the proceeds going to Jeremiah’s D.A.D. You can find out more information on all of our efforts here. Shiloh and I are also hosting a “Pamper for a Pup” fundraising party on May 6th.

Of course, our big fundraiser and hopefully the grand finale to wrap everything up will be our benefit night on June 2nd. It will be so much fun, hosted at the Ormond Plantation with food, live music and a huge silent auction. We are selling tickets here.

So, we’re doing well! We are blessed beyond belief and will continue to work hard until we have our lifesaving diabetic alert dog. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. They mean the world to all of us.

More updates coming soon!
